B.RAD
Hi, does anyone have an old weber kicking about in their garage that they would be willing to move on for a classic Mini project I am working on? Any carb/condition considered. My dad has a mk11 Midas that is crying out for a Weber conversion! Cheers Barny

B.RAD
I'm actually considering that Steve, but not sure how to go about it on a Mini. I'll look into it a bit more. In the meantime, any Weber's of any description going, please let me know (single, not pairs!). Cheers
MK11
Not a Weber, but I've got a supercharger setup that I tried on the XI...... Failing that how about the EFI setup from Specialist Components? Especially if coupled with their 7 port alloy head!

B.RAD
Thanks MK11, after a PM convo with Steve (blueassfly) we've actually just bought a pair of Yamaha 850 TDM bike carbs and will be getting a custom manifold to suit from DanST! We've looked at the k series BMW bike head steve, too expensive unfortunately It's on the list for someday though! MK11 - are you selling off your supercharger set up? We have another 1275 mini that we're considering some upgrades for and may be interested if so!
s2rrr
Had a 40DCOE on mine which used to spit back right into the speedo, old proper mini that is. Bob :d
B.RAD
Excellent Bob! That was what we were looking for originally I love classic mini's, they are where I cut my teeth as a kid and I'm fortunate enough that my Dad still loves them too, and now has a mk111 cooper s, a British racing green 1275 and now a Midas bronze too! It's the Midas that we're doing the bike carb conversion (that would have been a weber if it wasn't for Steve's suggestion!) on and the 1275 that we would like to supercharge. They're all in regular use and on track at castle combe and Goodwood as often as possible!
