help, westy v8 info needed

doe's anyone have any info on BX61UDM regarding its past. it is a rover powered 3.5 235bhp(allegedly) coloured black and orange. any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers DD

yeh its catd ,had heavy rear end , it needed a chassis but was probably just bodged would need to be checked properly ,fuel tank was damaged and suspension , being sold by tvr glen he has a few ,buys em off co part and cobbles em and shifts em on  , had all new bodywork ,it was zk its now fw

think he paid 9k or close to for it from memory , i was bidding on it to , another one he  has blown his brains out on , he pays way over the top for stuff

Similar tales in TVR land. Presumably sellers love him, 'cause he appears to pay top dollar for everything, even pushing auctions up.

 

Trouble is those looking to genuine resorption jobs hate him, for the same reason, he's bid a lot of what once would have been enthusiasts project cars up beyond a financially sensible point for the restoration work required.

you would need to speak to westfield about the build though the car had obviously been rebuilt so factory built or not go's out the window

,the engine is anyones guess though tbh

 i wouldnt even consider the car though , look elsewhere seriously

Anyone know this ones history been up for sale a few times now?, what is it with v8 cars on build mileage?
