Arm
Time has come to let the best engine go. This Vauxhall XE took me to 2 outright championship wins in the Midland Hillclimb and the Midland Speed plus as many track and hillclimb records as I can remember. Supremely flexible and with masses of torque the engine would easily top 107 up the hill and over the finish line at Shelsley and 141 at Aintree in what was not the lightest car. Steel crank, steel rods and an optimised head, valve and cam setup. Omega Pistons, dry sumped, small alternator, starter even the exhaust manifold if required, Run on Mobile 1 racing oil. Cant really be sure if I'm doing the right thing. £7.5K Engine only

Ragged Racing
I have had the pleasure of driving the car with this engine in, and it was truly remarkable how good it was. Loads of torque and power but so drivable at the same time. The best 2ltr engine I have driven! Start adding up how much it would cost to build one to this spec, and it's scary to say the least. If only I could afford it at the moment!
