Rory's Dad Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 The replacement website's got too much white space and not enough writing IMO. Quote
Paul Hurdsfield - Joint Manchester AO Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Wow ! you need sunglasses on to read that. Quote
tisme Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Gosh - very minimalist (that's Caterwums I guess !!) Quote
Rory's Dad Posted September 30, 2014 Author Posted September 30, 2014 On Locost and the Boardroom you get a list of 12 or 13 topics - on the new Lotus 7 forum about 6 or 7. The old Blatchat was a decent site to browse and that had 20 topics visible. I don't think their new web designers properly 'understand' forums... Quote
greenandmean Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 At least you can use there forum without half the topics being "sorry you don't have permission for that" Quote
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 Is not posting members only, just like it has been for years? Tech Talk and related is now also a members only resource and not visible to non members; or that was the announced intent at the start of the week. Quote
peterg Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 Posting on BC has been members only since about 2007ish, as Dave says the Tech Talk part of the new forum is intended to be members only for viewing as well although, as I'm not a member anymore, I haven't really bothered visiting it at all...
