now sold 92 sei narrow zetec road legal track / sprint car

well having missed another summer and with my first love calling ( classic fords  :d ) i have decided to sell on the westfield.

 

some may remember this car from xflow exploits of previous owner "conehead", hence my fitting a zetec :rolleyes:

engine swap is all correctly registered on the v5 (which states MANUFACTURER AS  WESTFIELD).

 

A bit late in the year i know but i will list now and if there's no takers i am happy to mothball untill next summer.

Julian (aerodynamix) has kindly offered to put the pics up for me later.

 

so,chassis-

92 sei narrow british racing green with yellow bonnet and yellow csr cycle wings.

factory power coated chassis which seems "like new" probably due to a mighty good crossflow lubricating system :d

rac roll bar with removable petty strut (diagonal brace)

high back seats and twin harness.

15" wheels / 195-50-15 tyres

discs front and rear including bias valve and working handbrake.

 

bonnet has a cut out for down drought carb, i was going to cover with a sticker/carbon but left for new owner to decide

rear arches have been trimmed for wider extensions - now removed but included in sale.

 

engine.

 

1.8 zetec ,

stainless low level 4 - 1 exhaust manifold.

re-packable silencer (spare wf unit included)

twin 40 dhla dellorto carbs  (set of webers available by negotiation)

dunnell 3D  ignition unit

alloy polo rad and thermo. controlled fan

20 ltr fuel tank

 

 

4 speed "rocket" type box fitted with remote extension.

new clutch unit

english (believed to be 3.89) differential unit in W.F alloy carrier.

 

spares include.    wiring loom, drive shaft, windscreen, wiper linkage, car cover , race seat , pair brooklands screens, stainless silencer, and no doubt more.............

 

£4700 ono 

 

price to include a new MOT if req.

 

Its not a car for the perfectionist, its a basic weekend blaster with a history of hillclimbing, ideal for trackday toy or to get you started in hill climbs and sprints ?   all the hard work is done, just needs some TLC and a few miles under its belt for a good shakedown .

 

i have not tried to list every detail and i know it wont be to everyone's taste but if interested get in touch, i will consider offers and take classic ford parts / engines etc in px ?
