Had this link sent to me by a mate, pretty horrific accident by the look of the debris,  driver(s) alive but no doubt in a serious condition. Take care on the roads as best you can but not always under your control sadly!

Used to own a VX, and seeing the wheel broken, half the footwell missing, and all the usual bits that I would normally have had my body in/under/around...

 

Definitely makes something think twice before hitting the loud pedal, let alone venturing out!

Some people are saying the VX was stationary and was hit by the female driver of a Seat, so even more concerning.

Read the rest of the thread, later comments say reports are saying that the VX driver appears to have crossed the path of the SEAT car when turning off the main road.

 

Most Elise/VX220 crashes look worse than they are as GRP bits go everywhere but the chassis is quite resilient, in this case the impact must have been enormous to tear the front off like that :(
