Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 I'd examine what's left very carefully, if it's literally been ripped apart, the copper cores stretcher till they've given way, there may be damage that's travelled quite a way along the loom in either direction from the actual break. You could splice a new centre section in, I think I'd be tempted to add multi-way connectors to join the front and back halves of the loom via a new middle run. Or you could join and extend what's there. But, if there's any doubt about the integrity of the wire, it might be easier to just get a new loom. Or, if the loom is looking a bit ropey elsewhere, again, it might be easier to start again. Quote
