Young Pretender Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 .. spent much time on here recently but seeing as it's our wedding anniversary I thought I might post a few! Quote
Young Pretender Posted August 29, 2014 Author Posted August 29, 2014 Enjoying this thread so far but thought I may offer further explanation. 5 years aniversary, but the Mrs has fall asleep on the sofa - she's not very well (we think maybe tonsillitis). My lovingly prepared roast was ready 30 mins ago but I don't want to wake her. Partly out of true love and partly because we are going on holiday tomorrow and I don't want her grumpy. So..... do I... 1. Wake her up to force enjoyment of my roast dinner? 2. Let her sleep and eat on my own? Or; 3. Keep chatting with you folks who are engaging with me so nicely? (and continue drinking) Quote
Geoffrey Carter (Buttercup) Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 How rude of the woman. Probably got a sore throat because she talks to much. I cannot believe she has fallen asleep on your special day whilst you have slaved in the kitchen. Leave her to sleep, eat your dinner whilst it is not dried up and go on holiday on your own. She wont fall asleep next year. 1 Quote
