clansman Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 A burton one has just gone on ebay. 131279017331 Nothing to do with me, just noticed it earlier. HTH Doesn't look complete........there should also be a thermostat housing IIRC . I'm waiting for raceline to source or manufacture a replacement housing as Ford no longer make the one's they used.
Hammy Posted August 27, 2014 Author Posted August 27, 2014 I think the theromostat housing is extra -like another, gulp, £69.00+ vat - apparently a standard x/flow fits ? ( retro ford is miles cheaper than that) I'm watching that rail , thx. Any others anyone ?? Anyone made one up from bits of pipe etc ??
ALLADDIN Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Best thing about fitting zetecs in a WF is that you don't need a water rail ;-)
Greggs Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Best thing about fitting zetecs in a WF is that you don't need a water rail ;-) No didn't use one either... and the ebay one is now at more money than he paid for it a burton ebay madness....
blue ass fly Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I never bothered Did the overcooling mod and its rock steady Ive seen people use a cvh housing with an adaptor plate which gets rid of the crappy plastic one if thats what your trying to do
jay.perry Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Dunnell do one, don't think it will be cheap but looks like a nice bit of kit. http://www.dunnellengines.com/zetec_components.php?partno=RMP1952 not sure if the link will work. Jay
Hammy Posted August 30, 2014 Author Posted August 30, 2014 That Dunnell one is a bit tasty ! Don't tell anyone but its to go in my 105E - main reason is space is very tight and the standard one is too deep and fouls the bulkhead (a lot).
ALLADDIN Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Now makes sense , I have a home made billet rf copy on my mk2 Esc.
