When I bought my new starter kit about 6 years ago, the chassis came with a lowered floor, I didn't ask for a lowered floor, and I didn't know I was getting a lowered floor, now in my 16 years of Westfield ownership, and club membership, lots of you have met me, and for those that haven't I'm all of 5'-6", yes really I am that tall! So the first thing I did before I drilled a hole, or popped a rivet was to get my hacksaw out, and cut the f*****n' straps off. goodness me those straps put me 50mm or 2" in old money lower in the car. I wouldn't be able to see over the flippin' steering wheel, and I felt that would put me in a very dangerous position. So straps off, new straps welded in, as per the old fashioned chassis, and then the build commenced. the car passed SVA 1st time as did my last car. But now I'm getting worried. So Doctor, does this mean I'm going to die?

Please note the absence of smileys or whatever cos' I'm seriously worried now.

But I don't wanna die til' I'm 140 years old. That way I might get back some of the dosh I paid the government over 47 years of working.

I can confirm Paul's tail as I purchased said lowered floor bits from him, They now recides is Steve H's duratec, well travelled those bits of metal,

Ps when discussing fitting a lowered floor into my megabusa with the factory both with Mark & Julian not once was I told that they'd report me to vosa.
