Bob Bobbleton
For sale as I've now sold my car. I purchased the engine in December 2011, and have stored it in the original crate in my garage since then. I bought the engine with 2 ideas in mind ; It could save me in the long run if the engine in the car broke Perhaps I was going to get it tuned and have the original engine as a used spare I did neither, and it has sat in my garage in the same place I put it when it arrived in 2011. I put some silica gel sachets around various parts of the engine to stop any ageing. The engine has never been out of the crate, turned over or touched. It's just the same as a new one ! These engines are selling on Kit Spares for £868, which isnt a bad price for a new engine. I paid £750 for mine. I have the original invoice and the "Certificate of Newness" which is required for your records if you are building a car and want an age related plate. Here are some photos of the engine taken yesterday. Included by Ford as a crate engine package, the engine is built up with the following ancilliary items : Throttle body - Injectors - Fuel rail - Inlet and Exhaust manifolds - Leads and plugs - Coil pack - Water pump - Clutch - Flywheel - Thermostat housing - Oil filter - Sump For sale £650 Cash on collection, buyer to remove from garage and take away (Easy access) Collection from TS5 area of Middlesbrough I can't help lift the engine as my back is cream crackered. I think its a nice opportunity for a bargain blacktop ! Thanks Bob
