Had the great pleasure to visit a customers workshop this morning to quote for a job ......................

This one has 700Bhp

This one is the only EVO model they made in right hand drive and has only nine miles on the clock , my customer has turned down offers that " are substantially more than a nice house"   .

I was a little spoilt for choice , two other special cars weren't there , although there were also two Focus WRC cars there and two Escort Cosworth rally cars too , one with what appeared to be a brand new shell .

Funny really thats all from driving past the Unit and seeing the sign !

Not bad power for a mighty xflow derived engine.

Was my favourite group b car, looks lovely :)

What a fantastic car, but such a great shame it's not being used at all though.

The 9 mile EVO version won't get used because just that , however the 700bhp car does get used , plus he has two others which weren't there . I am anticipating being back there at some point soon so hope to see more cars .

I went with the Cotswolds WSCC area to see Nick Masons private car collection the other year , that was fantastic to see the cars , however to me this was just a little bit more special , you can't believe what is on your own doorstep tucked away !!

Scary to think Ford could barely give the road/homologation batch away at one point.

Oh to be able to travel back in time with what you have now !!! Shopping list............a couple of MK 1 RS 1600 & 2000, a few MK 2 RS 1800's and 2000's and a couple or three RS 200's. to start with , a mustang or two.  Regret selling my X-pack Mk 2 RS but hey ho ! It still lives to this day as well

If its only done 9 miles, why does it need a service  :d

And push it out of the workshop backwards, in case it goes to 10

They don't make them like they used to

We had one at our club night on Tuesday, though not an evo. John Hoyle brought his one out for an airing, makes a change from his 106!
