Popular system with some boating types, in fact, I've seen a few Westfield owners doing it, and up till now, they'd all been sailors!

Either string or have the head band so tight it cuts of the blood to the brain.

After losing two, some alternative thinking was required.

And no nautical blood in me, I can get wet and cold enough in the Westie..!

Just be sure (talking with my Elfin Safety) cap [pun] on, make sure the cord isn't too long as it may have potential to get caught in your rear wheel!

What about a mk2 version - use knicker elastic and it will snap back onto your head !!!

Mines bin like that for years, I use a length of elasticated drawcord, y'know the type they use in the waist of outdoor coats.
