I would recommend to buy new ones  ;)  Machine Mart do some that are reasonably priced  ;)  :)

With used ones - check for fraying and splits  ;)  :(  You've just spent thousands on a Westfield + a few hundred on Micks trailer - don't spoil it for a few quids worth of quality strapping  ;)  :)  :D

You can get some wide straps in a fetching orange usually 1.5 tonne capacity will be more than enough - they also do "soft" wheel ties - save damaging the alloys - don't know part numbers I just call in and grab em off the shelf  ;)  ;)

If you intend to have you hood and sidescreens on car whilst towing grab yourself a smaller ratchet strap like used for suitcases to go around you car and stop the hood billowing out  ;)  :D

You'd be amazed how much wind gets under the sides and hood when towing - all you seem to see behind is a large balloon on top of your car, same goes if you use tonneau  ;)

And if you do what l did and removed all the wheel ties and forgot the small ratchet on the hood you crack the windscreen when you roll it off the trailer :arse:  :arse:  :arse:  :arse:  :arse:

See windscreen replacement section :durr:  :durr:  :durr:

yes, driving the car at 120mph seems to push the sidescreens in to the car further.  Driving at 60mph whilst towing lifted my drivers one clean off the brackets
