John K Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Chaps, Not that I'm lonely or anything, but the events calendar looks a bit quiet for August. And I really need to meet some folk who think buying the Westie was a GOOD idea. My wife's opinion would cause the Swear Filter to explode. Anything within 'blotting' distance of Broadway happening in the next few weeks? If you are wondering about the term 'blotting' it can be attributed to Mooch (http://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic/109645-medical-advice/) Quote
Stuart Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 I had an email from Andrew Reeves, Cotswold AO, on 4th July suggesting that there may be a blat to Hawkestone Park (near Shrewsbury) on 2nd August, but I have heard nothing more since. There was supposed to be a Herefordshire blat this Saturday for the birthday of the Herefordshire AO but I can't find owt out about that either - so I think it must be off. Tentative Scottish tour 23rd/24th in the Cotswold area website calendar too. Perhaps more info at the area meet next Thursday. Quote
XTR2Turbo Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Prescott breakfast club on Sundays - check the dates VSCC meet at Prescott also worth a run out to. Quote

Rhett Turner - Black Country AO Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 there's Prescott Revival on the 10th August, it may be organised by the Marcos owners club but I think there are a lot of makes there, I know that there were some Westfields last year and I hope I can make it this year. Surprised we don't have an official club stand. Quote
Stuart Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Hereford Blat still on this weekend Thanks Gary - John actually called me whilst I was in the pub this evening and told me it was on, then emailed me the details later. I have to go to a party in Chester tomorrow night with a free bar, so I may not be functional enough to join in on Saturday. But if I am, then I will! Quote

Man On The Clapham Omnibus Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Track day at Abingdon on the 29th which would be a superb day out if the last one is anything to go by. Or Hullavington (M4 J17) 12th September. Quote
CrisisWolf Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Hullavington on 12th would be good as I can't make Abindon on 29th Quote
