Rory's Dad Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Last year we went over on the Bank Holiday for this event in Flamborough and a bloomin' good do it was too. This year the dates of the event have moved and we are invited over on Saturday 16 August. This year we'll go via the 'Scenic Route' which takes in the Yorkshire Wolds. Like last year we'll be charging £1 for children to have a photograph taken of themselves in their favourite Westy with the proceeds going to 'Yorkshire Air Ambulance'. A good day in all sorts of ways and I hope a good number can come along. Lets meet at the Fox and Grapes at 9:30 Edited - Yorkshire Air Ambulance replaces Help for Heroes Quote
Tricky Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Is this a show Martin? Is there a link you could post? Quote
Rory's Dad Posted July 23, 2014 Author Posted July 23, 2014 No details on their website but this is where it's at. Quote
Tricky Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Sounds like it's an excuse to get out, will try and make it. Is there an option to camp, might be another reason for a drive back over Yorks moors Sunday, what you think? Quote
Rory's Dad Posted August 12, 2014 Author Posted August 12, 2014 Right, the weather is looking fine and dry. Just to confirm that we'll meet at the Fox and Grapes at 9:30. Don't forget it's in aid of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. One was used at the SS event at MIRA to take an injured marshal to hospital - you know it makes sense to support this charity. We will charge £1 for children to have their photograph taken in their favourite Westfield - so easy peasy! Quote
