if you used an oil fed burner you could run it off the xflow catch tank

Honda em650 are supposed to be very good and quiet

A guy i worked with used one under the horse box when they did dressage

Always started no matter how long it was left

If you want to boil serious amounts of water and run a cooker, whilst a little Honda is to be recommended, albeit a bit expensive, it is on the small side, and my guess is that you'll need something that's "trailer mounted" ie enormous.  Work out how many kilowatts you'll need, and if you can't afford Honda, try Kipor

steamer only takes 50 litres - runs for 3 hours.  Sound system will draw more i think.....

BAF - its not the lorry thats expensive its the things that go in it…..  :d   A five grand lorry will often have £100k of horses in…..
