hilux Posted December 24, 2002 Posted December 24, 2002 They are not so fashionable and a bit bulky but the Kodax DX series cameras are extremely good and do well in comparison tests. They are a bit bulky and plasticky looking but from the DX3600 up they are circa 3 megapixels. Mine has a docking station that fast charges and downloads simply by pressing a button. Buy a 64mb compact flash and you can take approx 20 mins of video. FWIW Quote
Andrew Posted December 27, 2002 Posted December 27, 2002 I too, am interested in buying a digi-cam, I already have a decent 35mm SLR, ( and scanner) and was wonderind how the images compare. Are digital cameras (around £3 to £400) any good at action shots? i.e. motor sport. Do they all have a delay between pressing the button and taking the pic? There's no shutter, but can you controll the "shutter speed effect" Help! I've got a son straining at his leash! buy, buy , buy!! T.I.A. Andrew And Merry Christmas and a Happy new year to all. Quote
chazpowerslide Posted December 27, 2002 Posted December 27, 2002 Get a Fugi Finepix 401, you,ll not be dissapointed. The more I use mine the more I'm impressed, seroiusly you could do a lot worse for £360. Quote
