cszjrh
Now my replacement engine is in and running I'm getting round to fitting my new JK seats. Just want to double check before I potentially get it wrong - once bolted the OMP runners to the bottom of the seats and bent the adjustor bar to match the width - is it just a case of forcing the bar onto the two lugs on the runner mechanisms? The instructions suggest its more a case of hooking over them but I don't see how that is possible. Is it instead just a case of using a bit of force? Any tips? Cheers, John
peet
I recently fitted new runners to my JK seats. I went for these: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=310953405946&alt=web They fitted perfectly after drilling holes in the runners where I needed them. That bar for the sliders was the perfect size and shape for the JK base. I welded bolts on the lower slides after drilling to make removal easy. cszjrh
Cheers Pete - I've already got the OMP runners so am committed to them now. Was just wondering how much force should be needed to get the bar to attach to the runners.
peet
Reshape the bar is the best bet. If the bar's pushing out spring like too much it will ut pressure on the captive nuts and possibly damage the seat when you sit on it. I can't reccomend the welded captive nuts enough though! 2 minutes and seats out!
