Parking at the NEC

Got a halfway meet with my daughter she london me manchester.

Meeting at the nec and delivering her first car.

Need somewhere at NEC to park up for maybe half an hour near the train station as that's how I am getting home but don't want to pay crazy amounts for parking .

Can anyone suggest car park pay and display ? Or anywhere else ?

If you can time your arrivals you can lurk outside the station fairly easily.  Or try the car park of the Arden Hotel if you need a bit more time to co-ordinate

When I travel up that way to visit the gf at Birmingham (I live in Sussex....) I always park in Birmingham at Millennium Point ThinkTank. Cheap parking (£5.40 all day inc overnight) and is a short walk from new street and moor street stations. Obviously not the NEC but I would assume more to do for catch up sake too

the train station car park isn't silly money. £8 per day and only a couple of quid or so for a short stop. ticket machines are in the station though but they take cards.

Go earlier,visit the motorcycle museum and get her to call you when she gets there,your only a few minutes away

 My office car park free all day every day and just a short walk from NEC Station, airport and Exhibition Halls

Not my experience 2 weeks ago, cost me £5 on a Saturday early evening, I was only there 25mins!
