Cooper I dont understand that - if the engine makes 400bhp is that not a 400bhp engine?   

 

Paul - I wish there was a cross flow engined class in the series (pop corn cooking now) :-)

Well no as some people do the conversion and give you the bhp after the weight conversion is done.

I.e a 150 bhp engine is roughly a 300bhp car. So it depends on what figures people give you.

This is were people confuse others if this bloke has built a 460bhp block from a 2.0 then some car when you take the half a tonne car into it then it's around 900bhp. When I went to westfield tgey were hiving me the cars bhp not the engines

No problem - I always thought engine Bhp is just than and power to weight is Bhp/tonne.... No matter must dash and get the leaves out the pool.... :-)
