Quinten
Got a bit carried away today and ended up fitting my aeroscreen Now I am left with 2 holes on the driver and 4 (!) on the passenger side. What did you do to cover them up? A large sticker seems to be the easiest? Anyone got some good pictures they can share?
alexander72
Stickers or a wine cork in mine - depends on size obviously :-)
alexander72
Looks good that Q :-)
Quinten
Stickers or a wine cork in mine - depends on size obviously :-) Wine cork?! You've got to explain that one to me
alexander72
I made a hole in mine big enough for a wine cork - covered it with a sticker :-)
Quinten
I made a hole in mine big enough for a wine cork - covered it with a sticker :-) lmao! I think I'll stick with my small holes instead Mind you, I could fit some port holes to get some external light into the cockpit
alexander72
Portholes - what a plan - I love it - A mighty cross flow with chandlery on the scuttle !!! Bravo
Young Pretender
Could use little rubber grommets to keep tidy in the event it is ever switched back to full screen.
Quinten
It's an option, but with the 4 on the passenger side it would look like the bullet ridden town signs you see in old Westerns
bigals
Have you looked at filling the wholes with new gell coat not a.quick job but has been done. Quite a few. Threads on the forums but perhaps a end of the batting season Until then stickers and a cork ? Or just drive faster so no one can see them :-D http://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic/36688-how-can-i-repair-stone-chips-on-my-westfield/#entry914060
Quinten
My skills are probably not up to the job if I'm honest. Would be the best option though, I admit. I'll try the drive faster advice
Graham0127
I have a large gel (4x2) union jack on the drivers side and a nice carbon tax disc holder on the other side. Looks like it was meant to be and when we don't have tax discs I'm sure a picture of the girl friend will look cool. Maybe Scott can get some WSCC membership discs for us all ? Quinten
I don't suppose you have a picture showing the driver side?
SootySport
Stickers, Just stick anything you fancy over the holes. Euro Elections coming up if you want to be topical.
Graham0127
I don't suppose you have a picture showing the driver side? I haven't, but it looks good. The gel ones are about 2-3 mm think and don't distort even over big holes. Got mine from eBay....
