cooperwestie Posted May 10, 2014 Share Posted May 10, 2014 Hi everyone ive some how broke the plastic channel that holds the roof onto the window. It's snapped were the screw part is. For tje amount of tention you have to put on it you would of thought it was made out of something substantial ie powder coated ally with some foam inside to stop it scratchin not a piece if 1mm plastic. The Molestrangler Posted May 10, 2014 Share Posted May 10, 2014 I used a 1" piece of aluminium which I bet to replicate the same radius as the screen surround. I then drilled a hole into this to screw through the mounting hole in the screen surround. Held the roof in place at motorway speed.
