tisme Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Hi guys, One of those frustrating things - the spell checker appears to have stopped working in my browser but ONLY for this forum website !! Windows 7 / Firefox 29 with spell checker set on (works ok with BBC forums ok and other sites). English (UK) dictionary extension. I've cleared the cache and history but no difference - Google shows other people also have similar issues on IP Board type forums. Most annoying part is Firefox on my laptop works fine (at the moment) Spell checking also works fine with IE11 Any thoughts on what else to try??
tisme Posted May 2, 2014 Author Posted May 2, 2014 i "think" I've sussed it - right mouse on wdghwdghdgdg and although the "Check Spelling" is ticked, the Languages one didn't appear to be (although tbh not sure if it should have defaulted to English (United States) - anyway, I selected the English (United Kingdom) and spell checker sprung into life !! Just one of those bizarre things I guess as I haven't done this to my laptop which has just about the same config
