VDO Pressure Switch and Sender - Both Sold

I bought these for a project which I never got around to completing, so now they’re up for grabs.

 

VDO part number 360-081-030-138C

 

They're dual function: resistive sender and NC switch:

 

The pressure sender works from 0 to 10 bar (150psi) and the (low) pressure switch opens at  1.25 ± 0.3 bar.

 

The terminals are different sizes to avoid confusion: one is ¼” the other 3/8”.

 

Earth connection for switch and sensor is through the body.

 

It is an 1/8” – 27 NPT male fitting.

 

They’re £39 each from VDO

 

I’ve got two of them, both brand new, £20 each plus P&P, or £35 for the two including P&P.

Not wishing to hi-jack but I think I've got an oil pressure gauge and pipe that will end at that sender.

 

If it helps Richard then someone can have it fo a few beers.

Ah, I think you're referring to a (dare I say traditional?) capillary gauge Norman... unless you can push electrons down that pipe that you're kindly offering...

Hang on a minute....... Yes you're right. The sender was mounted on the pedal box and a plastic pipe went from the block to there. It was over 10 years ago so may I be forgiven? Please? Pretty please, Sir.
