How narrow is a narrow?

Hi all, I'm new to the forum, looked at a couple of westfields, neither right for me but both wide bodies. How much different/ narrower ( is that a word)? Is a narrow body? There seem to be more narrow body cars for sale at the moment but don't want to view one to find I don't fit and waste anyone's time.

i think all the dimensions are in the FAQ section but if it helps,   i am 5' 9  and about 14 stone,  i fit a narrow but when i sold my last car vowed to only look at wide next time, i have another narrow     fine for a blast but if i wanted to travel long distance a wide would be better.

Think wide fella it is then, I'm similar size and not likely to get thin any time soon!

Are there any other things I should consider when looking at a potential car?

5'10" and 14 stone here and a narrow is perfectly comfy.  Even have hugging JK seats and harnesses and still no issues.

Wait a week, come to Stoneleigh, sit in a narrow and then in a wide, and you'll get your definitive answer.

Narrows are roughly 3" narrower and 3" shorter in the cockpit area than compared to a wide. If you're long in the leg or like your food they can be a squeeze for some

I'm 5ft 11" and found narrows were not too narrow, just not enpugh arm/leg room.

Stoneleigh is the way to go!

6 foot 2 and 16 stone and I fit in a narrow with room to spare.... :-)

Mines a wide...I'm same size as James (alexander72) and to be honest could do with a little more length in the leg room dept.

I think sitting in one isn't enough, you need to drive both.Seat type and base height (runners or not) makes massive difference,mine are Westfield ,but I could do with a little more shoulder width.......Gonna pinch SootySports when he's not looking....NICE!
