M444TTB
What does one do on St George's day? Are there any traditions to observe?
bhouse
Given St George's ancestry, perhaps a quick recitation of an Arabic script followed by a kebab for lunch would be appropriate!
Paul Hurdsfield - Joint Manchester AO
That would have to be a Dragon kebab Norm it includes all Englishmen wherever you are

Norman Verona
Actually there is a huge St Georges meeting in a village not far from here. Attendance is about 50/50 Brits and Frogs. They have a car boot sale, music, beer and wine, sausages and chips and some classic cars. I took the 7 and the Midget for a few years. We didn't go this year, just couldn't stand all those Brits! s2rrr
Apparently even Dave Cameron has said that St George needs some more street cred. He's gone up just a little in my opinion. Bob
