But I'm actually having second thoughts about Westy ownership. Had a few good drives out. Good fun, but I don't know what's missing. I think it begins with Por and ends with sche. Deako Posted April 22, 2014 Author Share Posted April 22, 2014 The ability to repair the car cheap was a huge appeal. However, I will do such little mileage annually, it's not really an issue. I'm sure I could run something from Stuttgart for similar money (no expensive engine failures included). I'm notoriously a serial car changer. But trying to change my ways. Paulm3 Posted April 22, 2014 Share Posted April 22, 2014 I'm sure your change your mind once 1) the summers here, and 2) you've taken it on track and it doesn't cost ££££ to change tyres/brakes/fluids etc after one or two track days... Deako Posted April 22, 2014 Author Share Posted April 22, 2014 I've had an extensive list of cars. I've had 36 in total and I'm 33 years old. My Clio 200 was fun in the twisties, but far too slow in a straight line. My last car was an M135i. Im very used to fast cars, and driving fast on track and as fast as I possibly can get away with on the roads. I'm just missing something with the Westy. Can't put my finger on it. I've been for a couple of blast with my mate who now has guests old car. I have more fun driving my Yeti daily to it's extreme comedy body rolling limits.
