One for Scott. I've just seen your post to KugaWestie and rather than high jacking his post....

The final stage of the Dorset Boys route to Stoneleigh is normally the Fosse Way then Welsh Rd. Given your advice to KugaWestie, is it best to avoid Welsh Rd and carry on the Fosse Way until Weston Lane or avoid the Fosse Way altogether? Given the longer journey we usually arrive at Stoneleigh around midday if time of day makes a difference.

Your standard route will be fine.  Leamington problems to the south are currently are on the Radford Road / High Street, which is closed for sewer replacement, and the Kenilworth Road between Milverton island and the Ramada Inn island to the north.  Both of these are main arteries and it's not been fun.  If I want to go west, I have to go east, south, and then west over 18 speed humps, or brave town centre traffic.

The way Gary's gang came through Leamington might have caused them issues, and explaining how to go your way difficult, so thought the easiest thing for them was to carry straight on and come in from the northeast.

Yours truly will be going in the tin top, sadly.  I'm bringing all the MemSec stuff and the food, drinks and an extra 14kg bottle of LPG, and that might take more than one trip in The Wench.

Fosse Way and Welsh Road will be fine...until they start building HS2, which will pretty much go straight over it just north of Offchurch.  It will also go straight through the middle of the Stoneleigh show ground, through the existing entrance and about 50 yards north of our stand.

Have a safe and enjoyable trip. :)

Many thanks - tin top also means more space for pretzels!
