alexander72
on a serious note you need one of Cleggy's all in one waterproof suits for wet westfielding…..
SootySport
My reason for not fitting a hood is different to yours, I can't get in or out with it fitted.
alexander72
Or any decent waterproofs will do but with separates you can get a wet back
stephenh
Bikers use a one piece oversuit sometimes I think. But the WSCC one is good from what I saw of it, and has the club logo on!
Wile E. Coyote
Bikers rain suit: there's a good MCN review here - http://www.motorcyclenews.com/upload/Ride%20Magazine/Product%20test%20pdfs/16%20may09%20OVERSUITS.pdf I have the Alpinestars one and it's great. Nice and easy to put on over boots.
Stu Faulkner
If you think you might drive in the rain, drill a drain hole in the floor otherwise if you brake then accelerate the water goes up your leg
s2rrr
Sooty, Don't despair we are the same age and I guess you may be fitter than I, because currently I'm not fit and have a dodgy back etc etc. I have a half hood and can get in with a detachable steering wheel. It may not be elegant but they do keep you drier. jjem53 Failing that a wet suit and sponge and a big smile. Ditch the shades as well when it rains it doesn't look cool. Got stuck in a sudden rain drop last year and in the time I took making the decision to put my half hood on was well soaked, just sat in the car waiting for the lights to change, once rolling the rain goes over, so I guess the advice may also be don't stop when it rains :d Bob
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
...a wet suit and sponge and a big smile. Bob I think maybe you meant to post that in one of those "speciality" forums? (No wonder you've got a bad back)
s2rrr
Was it supposed to be a gimp mask and a bottle of baby oil, I get confused easily these days. Shouldn't you be sticking that engine and gearbox in your new chassis. Can't wait for todays update, come on Dave. Bob

I'm a bit overweight but everything is working at the Mo bar back ache when I'm stressed or cold.. I'm not particularly bothered about getting wet, have waterproofs that work well, get them free form work. Take it easy Bob and treat yourself to a massage now and again, it won't cure any back problem but does feel good and makes you fall asleep afterwards . How about a heated seat in the Westfield, you can buy kits. I have heated seats in the Audi and they are a godsend on a long drive, even in the summer. s2rrr
Could do the massage but maybe her indoors may complain :d. When I travelled through Damascus a lot of the guys went to the Turkish baths. I just couldn't get my head around being pummelled by a rather large hairy Syrian or Turk, does nowt for me. I do have a BUPA note for a physio terrorist session but think that would be more of a twist and crack session, if you know what I mean.
