Brands Hatch Indy - Monday 10th March

I'll blame the combination of the sun streaming in through the window and me having a couple of days gap between pieces of work next week but just booked my first track day - MSV Novice Day @ Brands on Monday.  Can't wait!

LSD oil leak sorted, car fully checked over, just need to top up my oil levels a bit (flat mounted XE with a chopped sump so will raise it up to the "M" of max and see how much gets blown into the catcher if any), final check of the brake pads and I'm good to go I think.

Wish me luck! :)

Cheers, John

I have the same engine flat mounted, and the level of oil mine is happy at the 'm', it sits there quite nicely now after advice from XE owners on here :)

Have fun!

Cheers guys.  Just reading the safety regs and it says that refueling isn't allowed in the pitlane or in the garages.

Where do they expect you to refuel then?  Just out the back of the garages somewhere or is the assumption that you'll go offsite and use a petrol station?

Yes, you can refuel behind the garage, you wouldn't refuel in your own garage, would you.      And a top idea for a Trackday Newbie  going on the novice day.
