Ray Fowler
I've decided to sell my one-owner Westfield wide body car. Factory-supplied with all brand new parts and kept for personal road use only. Never 'tracked' or raced it was set up for fast road use by John Edwards Motorsport of Daventry including balanced suspension. The car has covered only 4000 (four thousand) miles since new and that included a trouble-free trip to France and back. The car is in stunning condition (even the stainless steel exhaust manifold is polished!) and includes:- Black body with chrome pack (front suspension, windscreen, roll bar and side exhaust) Black seats and carpets Profiled dashboard with white faced Caerbont instruments and leather Mountney steering wheel Heater(!) Full hood and side screens plus elasticated cockpit cover Five unmarked alloy 'Team Performance' wheels. The tyres have covered only 4000 miles. Two litre twin overhead cam Ford Duratec (204bhp and 0-60 in 4.2 seconds - factory figures) Type 9 five speed gear box Webcon (Weber) throttle bodies fuel injection with computer-controlled fuelling, mixture, ignition and emissions. Disc brakes all round Limited slip differential Independent rear suspension Adjustable shock absorbers front and rear. Excellent road car (no aches and pains on the trip to France!) but, stripped down, it would be a potent track car (just don't ask me to watch!) This car is literally as-new and cost over £20,000 from the factory. Price £9,500 to include tax and MOT plus WSCC membership Photographs available and the car lives in Stafford, West Midlands. Matta
Says 2007 under the avatar and it does sound like a bargain! Is it a Type 9 gearbox or an MT75? I didn't think the factory were fitting Type 9's then.
MarkS2
That is the cheapest duratec I've seen for sale, I'm sure it will get sold over the weekend.
Yanto
I bought it today, I guess I'd bought it within 10 minutes of it going up for sale. Reverse is opposite 5th, is that a clue as to type 9 or MT75 ?
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
Yep, that's an MT75 then. Well done, someone needed to be fast to get that one!
