Yeah, new tarmac through there and also Island & Shell apparently (not sure if you do that layout on the bikes?).

Fantastic day today wonderful weather and good driving. No bad accidents and lots of happy folk. ZX flew round and even better on slicks brakes stood up well, thanks Steve for the pagids, once they stopped smoking they were nicely bedded in...... really want to try the slicks on the westfield now. Hope you all had a great day too. Oh and thanks to track action I won a free track day. Will get booking another one asap. Jon

Yes it was an excellent day,

Weather was near perfect if not just a little too cold. Car performed very well with only one snag, I had to repack and resecure my exhaust.

Had some good Tussles with the other TAOL regulars in their Westfields.

All in all a brilliant day.

Another brilliant Trackaction Online track day, fantastic weather and plenty of quality track time and tussles as Mike said.

Nothing beats hooning around with a group of mates on one of the best tracks in the country.

Couldn't agree more Matt, we were low on numbers so not the most successful day we've run as organisers but for sure one of the most enjoyable in a good while  :t-up:

Your car's changed a bit since I last saw it Stu.. It's lost a couple of wheels for starters!

Just out of interest, how do you rate car v bike trackdays?.. ???

There is a considerable difference Andrew - both have pro's and cons.

The biggest difference with bike days is price. The day above cost me £55! Less than a speeding fine - hard to refuse at that price!

However, the only reason they are that price is there are more bikes on track. Can be a bit intimidating if you have only ever done car days, but once the bikes are actually on circuit there actually seems like less!

The other biggie with bike days is that overtaking is allowed anywhere! Braking zone, corners, wherever. Again, sounds like an accident waiting to happen after being used to car days, but in practise it works fine :)
