Newbie 2009 Duratec SEIW

Hi there from Leicestershire, my names Dan just bought a Westfield after looking for the last couple of years finally got one that wasn't even on the market that I wanted to buy a year ago after agreeing a sale today and collected it immediately!

Its a SEIW duratec kit registered in 2009 built over 4 years by an engineer that had built a few before and the finish is second to none! Running around 190bhp on Throttle bodies and emerald ECU, loads of genuine carbon goodies and only 1000 miles. Everything is either powercoated, painted or polished!  Love it just want some dry weather now. tried uploading photos on here but didn't work. taken a quick few but will do a proper thread soon as going to be making a few changes including; full cage, Tillet/JK composite seats, aero screen, some engine work maybe would love 250 bhp N/A

Any advice on anything/comments appreciated.

Any meets coming up local would love to get involved!

Welcome to the club Dan, that's a very nice looking car

Very colourful engine bay though, did he work for Early Learning Centre or Toys 'r' Us?  or maybe it's colour coded like they do on modern tintops so people (ie woman) don't put coolant in the brake fluid reservoir etc :d

Welcome indeed, looks a great car, just keep sunglasses handy to pass out to people viewing the engine bay!  Never seen anything like that before, but can't argue with the fact it's been loved and well spec'd!  Enjoy it - the smiles are free! :)

Taxed it up, much cheaper than my GTR and Range Rover for the year! Insurance through A Plan was pretty good too

Welcome, nice looking car.

Are your rear arches also carbon?

Wouldn't mind a set for mine?

Ahhh, thanks. Was hoping they were carbon and where they came from?

Dan,

Welcome to the club, I'm sure you will enjoy the car. I was involved in the build (but not colour choices for the engine bay!) ;-) lot of top spec stuff went into it.

I know Mark did not use it much at all, so it's virtually brand new.
