Had an L as a hire car

Agreed, fugly & dog slow

Only redeeming feature was 1\2 decent Bluetooth that reads out text messages

Think it was 1.2 diesel...

I think the Fiat 500L is in competition with the Mini Countryman for the ugliest car award.

Good news for you dog breath - they look like they have been in a crash before leaving the showroom - you should get a queue of new owners asking you to make their new 500L look normal. Too much vino on the day the board passed that monster for production!,

Mind you - I used to own an Allegro Estate so have poor judgement built in!

My brother & sister in law just bought one. My brother said they also liked the Mini Countryman but were trading in a normal 500 so staying with Fiat was easier. I can't imagine how we are related. My parents have questions to answer!

What about this Fiat 500? 

 

I've always had a soft spot for the big-engine conversions on the old 500, but although it looks brilliantly engineered, I don't actually like this one - they've gone too far and lost the shape IMO.
