wiggywoo Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 I'am after two diff side ends or driveshafts for a live axel english diff with the westfield alloy caseing. or any help sourcing any thanks.
greenandmean Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Bit like hens teeth I think, probably better and quicker getting a pair made.
Lawrie Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Ouch. I recall the old Lotus Elan used a similar set-up with the English diff, but I think it was on rubber doughnuts rather than UJs. They must have come off something, but none of the Fords of that era had independent suspension. The diff was made by Timken What do the factory say?
Benzo Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 They do be knocking around, I couldn't give a pair away last year. Ended up taking £50 for the pair. Keep an eye on eBay, there where a pair on there too.

stu999 Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 I can highly recommend Geoff Berrisford's work - top stuff, reasonable prices, especially for one-off components...
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 It's not just the UJ's there are a few photos knocking around the forum of the shaft itself wound up till it looks like a corkscrew! It's the main reason why owners started having them made, even when originals were still available.

Yes I've allready done that till they twisted and snaped in half made a mess plus just missing chippo's head with flying debris. Had stronget tubes and now gone at the splines
