Mitchell Cotts Gearbox

What is for sale: Mitchell Cotts 5 speed gearbox and shifter, I may put the prop shaft up for sale at some point but I may be able to have it adapted to fit the new one so for now it isn't included in the sale. The bell housing is staying with me.

Condition: The gearbox is as good as new, the gear change is fantastic and is one of the best things about my car. It has never been raced and has only done 3000 miles! I've had the car since about May and have put a few hundred faultless miles on it.

Reason for sale: I needed a 'box that is intended for track use, therefore I have decided to upgrade to a sequential gearbox. If it wasn't for my intended use for the car and was only going to use it on the road then I wouldn't be putting it up for sale.

Current state: I put the order in for the sequential gearbox today, so I haven't had the time to do anything with it in terms of pulling the engine out but it can be removed/viewed/listened to upon request.

Price: This is the tricky part as I'm not sure on the value, I do know that these boxes brand new are a fair bit over a grand, so I am testing the water at £650.

Good point, I'm on my phone at the moment whilst out and about, they are standard Ford MT75 ratios though, I'll find out exactly later and post them on here.
