alexander72 Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 Phil, what exactly does that bit of kit do ? forgive my ingnorance. Quote
FILFAN Posted December 5, 2013 Author Posted December 5, 2013 Its a cam sensor to tell the ecu which cycle cyl 1 is on. This is needed as I run fully sequential injection and ignition. (1 injection and spark per cycle) most do away with this and run semi sequential or batch firing ( 2 injections if half the required fuel and 2 sparks (wasted spark) per cycle). Semi is perfectly fine but gives u less resolution to adjust the fuel. As I have chuffin massive injectors and because I like to be different I went fully sequential. Quote
Tricky Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 Tell you what Phil, it'd make a snazzy coin holder if it doesn't work! Soz, couldn't resist. Quote
FILFAN Posted December 5, 2013 Author Posted December 5, 2013 will make you one if u like though its a bit over engineered Quote
Tricky Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 Sounds good, think how many mint imperials it'd hold? You could make a fortune manufacturing these, a cup holder for really small cups. Quote
