Knew a chap who used to illegally climb these things so that he could parachute off them - he was one of the early BASE jumpers and remarkably, I heard recently that he is still alive.  Absolutely nuts.  He reckoned the the dangerous bit was missing the support wires on the way down…oh..and frying your gonads if the transmitter was live.
