Powder coating - How much !

I dropped my front wishbones off on Monday for blasting and powder coating, the guy says £15 for the four , I thought that's not bad . Phone call yesterday wishbones are ready is £10 ok.

Job to me looks fine .

I got a quote to blast the front wishbones and roll bar £50 which I thought was a bit much but I've got a powder coat line at work :-) and a phosphate line which all the metal is pre coated with first which increases the infection of the rust worm...

This sort of specialist work costs a small fortune down here in the South, probably 4 x the cost of up North.

you're going to the wrong place then Bernie :) I use Impact Coatings in Colchester and providing you want a stock colour then price is cheep and comparable to those above. If you want something different then you'll be charged and additional fee for cleaning and changing the colour in the gun which will add another £40-£50 to any job :)

Colchester? that's up north for me.      May give them a try next time.
