Problems with my computer

Help!

I seem to have a problem with my computer. I think there may be something running in the background which is making it go slow, and frequently preventing the mouse from moving the cursor.

I get a couple of pop-ups:

First is "Interactive Services", the detailed narrative on which reads something like:

Runtime Error

program:es\commonfiles\Roxio Shared\9.0\sharedcom\RoxWatch9.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the Applications support team for more information.

 

Then I get another pop-up which starts off:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library............

This problem happens because of partial incompatibility with Windows.

 

If it is relevant, my machine runs on Windows Vista (I think!)

 

Does anyone know what all this mumbo jumbo means? Is there something in the register which I should be deleting?

Uninstall Roxio, restart, reinstall latest version.
