Petrol prices

I see critism of our foreign aid quite a lot now. One of the conditions of most foreign aid is that most/all/more given is spent buying goods and services from us.

The CEO returned home from shopping yesterday excitedly proclaiming to have seen "CHEAP PETROL" at 122.9 a litre, a welcome reduction maybe but certainly not "CHEAP", I reminded her that when she started driving it was 2 shillings and 6 pence or, 12 new pence a gallon, that was "CHEAP"
