Bernie, they do it by buying in China. That sofa will cost about $70.

The jacks I bought on the two bulk buys were purchased, shipped, dock charges and VAT for slightly less than £60. Demon Tweaks were selling them for over £500 at the time.

Pricing of products are nothing to do with cost, it's about what the market will pay.

Good marketing will see folk pay a lot more for, say, one car than another because they think it's better and therefore worth more.
