samcooke Posted December 13, 2002 Posted December 13, 2002 Westfield have announced a quicker version of the XTR2, named the RTS Turbo. Additions will include bigger wheels, more spoilerage, a shiny tailpipe and a bolt on turbo conversion. Before I received this, I'd never even noticed XTR2 was a bit like XR2 Can't wait for the Ctosworth version. Quote
david.c Posted December 13, 2002 Posted December 13, 2002 Hhhhhmmmm!!! Looks like someones been editing photos to me David Quote
The Dice Man Posted December 13, 2002 Posted December 13, 2002 Westfield have announced a quicker version of the XTR2, named the RTS Turbo. ….that’s very naughty of you Mr Cooke, putting up a picture of Catterhams new concept car and claiming it’s an XTR2. You’ll only upset those lurking Blattchatters. Quote
steppenwolf Posted December 13, 2002 Posted December 13, 2002 I reckon we ought to have a competition for the best 'enhanced' XTR2 photo ...... Quote
Mark Williamson Posted December 13, 2002 Posted December 13, 2002 Are you sure it is an XTR2? It looks more like a cruzzzing Citroen Saxo with the 'edited' mods !!! Quote
Ian Gratton Posted December 13, 2002 Posted December 13, 2002 LOL, wait until you see our new spoiler.... the XTR2 comes off the road in a months time for its rebuild. We already have a genuine 480kg car (a 'real' weight from very expensive corner weighting equipment) and we are hoping it will make a return in the spring somewhat lighter. Can't unfortunately get the neons on now as its only 2 1/2" off the ground Just have to make sure it doesn't fall apart at donington on the 29th. Quote
steppenwolf Posted December 14, 2002 Posted December 14, 2002 As no one else has taken up the gauntlet, I'll start the ball rolling:- Quote
Mark Stanton Posted December 14, 2002 Posted December 14, 2002 The Manchester Lilac Monster is gonna like it - can't speak for anyone else in this world though Quote
samcooke Posted December 14, 2002 Author Posted December 14, 2002 Steppenwolf, You've made some fairly basic errors there, there is no way a car will go fast without underbody neons, blue neon washer jets and a wire mesh grill. Quote
steppenwolf Posted December 14, 2002 Posted December 14, 2002 there is no way a car will go fast without underbody neons, blue neon washer jets and a wire mesh grill. Wow ...... you're right it will go faster - although I thought the gold wheels were worth 23BHP in anyone's books? Quote
Ian Gratton Posted December 14, 2002 Posted December 14, 2002 LOL Wheres the goddamn stereo install Ian. Quote
steppenwolf Posted December 14, 2002 Posted December 14, 2002 Wheres the goddamn stereo install Ian, those are not red mirrors on the sides, those are the left and right hand tweeters. The left hand base speaker is that square on the side ...... Quote
