OMG, certainly brings home the dangers of motorsport!! Putting the damage of the car aside I'm really pleased to read in the other thread you're ok and not deterred by this incident.

 

Looking on the bright side, that's one hell of a winter project you have now :yes:

Pleased your ok, the car is just metal and can be fixed

thats just made my mind up cage is the only way to go for a track car

 

 

 

hope you are ok

 

at the end of the day the car is only a piece of metal and can be fixed as long as your ok that's the main thing

Yep any sort of serious track use, even non-competitive, seems like it's a must.

Marty Blues that really made me smile :-) Ive spoken to Martin and he is remarkably accepting of it and actually looking forward to the re build :-)

Daaaaamn is, I think, the appropriate expression! A friend destroyed a car on a track day once and the only bit he was 'happy' about is having caught the whole thing on video!
