Wanted - SEIW 2ltr Zetec/Redtop/Duratec on TBs

Hi,

 

I’m looking for my 2^nd Westy. I previously had a wide body 2ltr zetec running on carbs and fast road cam.  I’m looking for something more feisty either:

·         Duratec on Throttle bodies with lots of scope for further engine work

·         High spec zetec

·         Medium spec red top

·         Must be 200 bhp + kind of spec

 

Other things on my shopping list:

·         Full weather gear

·         Must be in A1 condition inside and out, Recent service/MOT/Tax, Must be ready to go without work needed, not tracked or used in wet

·         Would like to have full build history and recent RR print outs if possible

·         LSD, adjustable suspension, disc all round – road setup

 

Anybody out there that can help? Budget suggestion - £8k to £12k

I wouldn't rule out a car that's been tracked- the chances are its been tested under harsher environments, and thus better developed to cope with it.

You may also find if someone's taken the trouble to fit weather gear, that it's actually been used in the rain!

Echo that - I wouldn't hesitate to buy a car that's been on track, it shows up any issues very quickly and it would be rare for an owner not to go ahead and fix such an issue!

On the weather gear, it is more the side screens that I am after, the rest is just re-sale worthiness
