Last one went for just over £350, and a couple of chaps I know called up and got 2 for £600 delivered, if that helps at all...

Anyone else after one?

Haha - thought so, just wondered if you might be able to club together and save £50 or so :)

It looks like they've sold a couple of them this month both at silly low prices.

if you're seriously looking Kev then I'd suggest giving them a call direct to see if they have any others to sell.  For the 20Hz model I'd be very suprised if there's a better deal elsewhere.

Is it definitely the 20 Ghz one, i found the description a bit ambiguous

Unrivaled accuracy with our 20 Hz GPS option (5Hz standard)

Reading the advert again, it could be interpreted both ways, I read that it was.... but then again ???

If it helps... I have one of these and it appears that 5Hz and 20Hz refers to the data rate for the GPS sensor. The accelerometers read at 100Hz despite it being a '5Hz' model, which is the more important bit IMO.

I think they have just copied and pasted the website into the eBay link, I reckon that's a 5Hz.

Good stuff :)

Get the software and a sample run downloaded and have a look on YouTube for their tutorial videos - well worth spending some time getting au fait with it, since the data is useless unless you can interpret it well!

Be very interested to see any data you get from it, in fact we should start a DL-1 data sharing thread

Yes I was thinking I need to now learn how to use the data!!

And no way would I share my data just yet, you'd all have a field day laughing at it!

But that's a good idea regarding sharing but I imagine it would be quite car specific in terms of brakes, traction, etc...?

Looking forward to getting it though, are you using a Dash2 or 3 for live info?

Because they are local to Derby and Notts we ran a couple of training sessions (How to use the data collected by the Dl1) at the Clock given by the guys from Race tech, they went so well that RT started to do them from at their base in Eastwood, near Ikea off j26 M1.

It's all about sharing - you can always learn something from someone else :)

It is kinda car-specific, but general shapes of curves will be consistent and you can pick out where to find time.

I'd love a Dash 3 (for qualifying sessions it would be really handy I think) but can't justify it...

Nice - good idea that!
