Well Part 2 eastwards went very well in the sunshine on Sunday and I'm thinking about having another shot at Part 1 westwards to the Lake District and Grange-over-Sands on Saturday 14 September.  Weather looks OK.  Please could you let me know if you are interested.

I've not only been successful in preventing OnliestSmeg from coming along but seemingly almost everyone else too.  C'mon guys - you know you want to.  A great route through some of the country's most spectacular countryside and some decent weather not enough to tempt you??

...except we would have been going today - warm with bright sunshine.  I'll have an early lunch and have a blat round the Dales.
