Boombang Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 This is my trailer, would be good to know if a narrow Westfield would fit. Overall Trailer measurements:13’6” / 4.10m long6’10” / 2.17m wideBed measurements:9’7”/2.92m long5’5”/1.65m wide
jim_l Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 A narrow will fit on it width wise comfortably, length wise it would sit on but the body would overhang 200mm both front and back. You may not have a great deal of flexibility to move to car forward or back to get the right nose weight on the trailer. Narrow Body Width (Rear) over wheels/tyres - 1520mmMaximum Width over body - 1560mmWheelbase - 2335mm
Mark (smokey mow) Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 I have a 5ft7" x 10ft bed on my woodford trailer and that gives enough room for 8-10" movement fore/aft to ballance the trailer. Mines a wide body so with the shorter wheelbase of a narrow you should have a bit more room still.
Boombang Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Thanks folks, very helpful. I'll keep the trailer up for sale for now (as have no towbar on our daily drive!) but if it doesn't sell and I end up getting a Westy, handy to know it should fit ok.
Boombang Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Just to confirm this sold and was picked up a while ago.
