WSCC Student
Hello everyone We are students at Birmingham City University on an internship with WSC. We have come up with an idea to create furniture from Westfield car parts. We would appreciate, if you could give us some feedback on our concepts. If you are interested in our project, and could spare a few moments to participate in a Skype or email conversation please reply to ujassal@hotmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you. Many Thanks Ulka and Ruthie

Andy Banks
Would your concept stretch to storage containers? Thinking something to store Vodka Jelly (which is popular here) would be cool...
Captain Colonial
Well, obviously office chairs from Westfield seats... Desk lamp from a headlamp? Coffee table from a wheel & tyre with a glass top? Giant cheese grater from a ducted nose cone? (Getting desperate here...) Errr... That's all I got! Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
Body tub plus nose-cone for a very narrow child's bed "surround". Then you've got all the "engineeringy" pieces - Audi, (I think) did an exhibition fetaureing lots of that sort of stuff a few years ago, Valves bent to form coat hooks, pistons as containers, that sort of thing. Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
Oh God, why did I read Steve's post, now have a truly horrific mental image of him in a Mankini strapped into the body tub torture frame. Off to stick my head in the oven now.

Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
Hmm, the front cycle wings have a nice sculptural form to them, must be a way to integrate them into a design somewhere...

Norman Verona
HM says she's going to use the spare (damaged) frame as a coffin. Not really furniture though.

It is if she has you stuffed, mounted and put on display in the living room.
